THE performing arts centre formerly known as PADS as well as a derelict former primary school will both be demolished to make way for 32 houses, according to plans submitted to the council.
Grove Street Primary School has stood empty for several years and is now considered are eyesore because of its dilapidated condition.
Proposals to demolish the school, on Grasmere Road, along with the former PADS building (Performing Arts Development Service) have been submitted by Carl Lee.
Tthe development would be a mix of 11 two-bedroom terraced houses, 12 three-bedroom terraced houses and nine three-bedroom semi-detached houses which would retain the architectural features and physical layout of the surrounding area.
