BARNSLEY Ladies slipped to a 3-0 defeat at Bradford, who also completed the double over the Reds. The home side took the lead midway through the first half with a strike from 30-yards. A second soon followed when Barnsley failed to make the most of the advantage played by the referee following a foul on defender Kerry Jones and Bradford broke in numbers to make it 2-0. The second half was a similar story with Barnsley struggling to break down a strong defence. To their credit, they changed to 3-4-3 in a bid to come back into the game but Bradford killed the game off with a third, despite the efforts of lone defender Tracey Martin and goalkeeper Kath Hemmingway.
