THE family of a Cudworth man who took his own life after a long battle with depression has thanked the local community for their support.
Tributes have poured in for Paul Michael Kaye, whose body was found at the Holiday Inn, Manvers, by police after a day-long search last Friday.
Paul, who worked in IT for the NHS until taking redundancy last month, had suffered with bipolar disorder since his teenage years.
The 45-year-old left a note before he took his own life in which he told family and friends to not buy flowers, and instead requested that monetary donations be sent to a mental health charity. A Just Giving page has been set up so he can have his final wish.
To donate, visit justgiving.com/Chris-Fox18. Paul's funeral takes place at Barnsley Crematorium on Wednesday at 12.10pm.
