A BARNSLEY band which plays all over the country representing the Royal British Legion is looking to drum up some new members.
The Yorkshire Band of The Royal British Legion, which turns four in September, is holding an open evening on Monday at its band room at Darton College community centre on Ballfield Lane.
It is the first time it has run an event like this and there are hopes it will become a regular event.
It is from 6pm for people wanting to join its Corps of Drums members and from 7.15pm folk who would like to play other instruments in the band can attend.
