BARTENDER Ian Lewin went above and beyond when he had his head shaved to raise money for a poorly child.

Ian had a full scale quiff and 'pompadour' hairstyle but decided to sacrifice it for young Theo Ferguson who has spina bifida.

Ian got rid of his locks in a sponsored headshave to raise money for a new wheelchair and trike for Theo, four, of Neville Avenue, Barnsley. The equipment costs more than £3,500 but will help Theo build up his core muscles so he can walk.

Ian, 28, of King Street, Hoyland, works at the Meadows, Cortonwood.

All kinds of events from cake bakes to mountain climbs have been organised for the 'Theo's Wheels' fund-raiser.
