A PENISTONE man is to embark on an epic and emotional 750-mile charity bike ride for Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice.
The challenge has been arranged in memory of Paul and Jack Sykes, who died in a fire started by their father at their home in Penistone.
The brothers were friends with Richard Johnson's son Matthew and the 38-year-old decided to embark on the ride in their memory.
He will set off from Lytham St Annes in Lancashire because it was the tragic brothers' favourite holiday destination. He expects to cover 125 miles a day after starting on July 13, expecting to return to Penistone on July 18.
