TALKS with residents living on three streets in Goldthorpe are to begin as part of a scheme to speed up the regeneration of the area.
Residents living on Co-operative Street, Victoria Street and part of Beever Street will talk to staff from Dearne Approach to see what can be done to improve the area they live in.
While plans for the demolition of half of Beever Street have been approved by Barnsley Council, there are no plans yet for the second half to come down.
Following demolition, the council is looking to redevelop the site to provide new, high quality affordable housing.
