GOLDTHORPE is set for the tinsel town treatment as a community cinema has been moved in the village.
The Dearne Community Cinema Project has found a new home at the Dearne Playhouse in Goldthorpe.
The cinema had previously been at the Dearne ALC but it's thought that it will prove to be more successful at the Playhouse.
It's hoped by the project's backers Big Local that it will also prove to be self-sufficient.
The cinema is going to open twice monthly, once with a movie for adults and the other will be more family-orientated.
Money provided by Chevin and Big Local funded the purchase of the projector.
