Heidi's mum, Kate Goodyear, of Avon Close, Higham, is a trustee for the local charity, which provides financial help and gift bags for children and teenagers with cancer.
Kate said: "Whenever she got any pocket money she put in it the tin. When she got an ice-cream she would get a cheaper one and put the rest of the money in her tin."
