A YOUNG couple who are desperate for a brother or sister for their little girl are raising money for IVF treatment.
Michael Smith, 28, was diagnosed with testicular cancer last July which has left him infertile. His wife Keeley, 26, suffers from polycystic ovary syndrome and they have been told they cannot have the treatment on the NHS.
But they are desperate for another child to be a brother or sister for their daughter Lacey-Marie, four.
Keeley, of Darfield Road, Cudworth, said: “It’s absolutely heartbreaking. We’re struggling to make ends meet and finding it hard to raise the money. I can’t even begin to say what it would mean to us to be able to have another child.”
