A NEW auction house is being created at Elsecar Heritage Centre - by the man who started the centre’s popular sales.
Former teacher Alan Blakeman founded BBR Auction out of his enthusiasm for bottles in 1991.
Now he set on his own auction house on the site - at the old Hive Gallery - having previously hired the centre’s Building 21 for his sales.
Alan has knocked down three walls and put in a supporting girder during the work - in time for his next sale on December 6.
