A ROYSTON man has put his engineering passion to good use and is creating unique items made from industrial materials.

Christopher Hall, of Galway Close, collects valves, pulleys, cables and other reclaimed pieces in order to make his one-of-a-kind clocks, candelabras and lamps.

The 37-year-old said: “I’ve been doing it for several years now but every item is created from industrial items so it’s unique.

“I’m an engineer by trade so it came naturally. Some items can take several days to make but the bigger items can take a few weeks as it’s quite intricate work.”
