BARNSLEY baker John Foster features in a new BBC series which will see him trying to earn his crust as a Victorian baker.
BBC Two’s Victorian Bakers sees four modern bakers recreate the lives of their predecessors of more than a century ago.
John, 53, owner of Foster’s Bakery at Mapplewell, said it was one of the most exhausting and demanding things he has ever done.
The programme starts on Tuesday January 5 at 8pm on BBC Two.
