HOYLAND might not sound like the ideal holiday destination, but caravan club members spent new year camped here nonetheless.
Members of the South Yorkshire Centre of Caravan Club gathered in their caravans in the rain at the Rockingham Centre.
Tim Webb, 60, of Trueman Green, Maltby, said: “I’ve been caravanning for years. It’s great fun because we can congregate in our community and drink without worrying about driving. It’s perfect for New Year’s Eve.”
The South Yorkshire Centre members stayed in Hoyland from December 28 until Saturday.
