A BUSINESSMAN and his family were targeted by bogus policemen who tried to get into their house late at night using a fake search warrant.
Two men posing as bobbies tried to force their way into the family home in Cudworth claiming they were executing a search warrant.
Resident Richard Burgin said: “The more I questioned them the more aggressive and threatening they became, one even shouted to the other, ‘get the battering ram’.
“As I was trying to close the door they were trying to force their way in.”
