HOYLAND Leisure centre is looking to bring back lost trade after its sports hall was damaged by flooding last year.
Heavy rain damaged Hoyland Leisure Centre’s sports hall floor beyond repair in October. The centre remained open but the hall, which was used for badminton, football and gymnastics, has been closed ever since.
Manager Jon McCool is hoping to restart the rota of events when it reopens the end of this month after a refit costing £70,000.
Jon’s sports hall clients have had to find other facilities while the refurb has been taking place.
