A NEW cycle hub has got off on the right track with plenty of folk showing interest following its official opening.
Cyclists in the town can now benefit from bike hire, servicing and secure indoor parking after the new Barnsley Cycle HUB, based the interchange, was opened by Mayor Coun Brian Mathers.
The hub, based in unit five and ten at the interchange, offers free secure indoor parking for up to 30 bikes, toilet and showers, bike servicing and repairs, Dr Bike check-ups, bike loans and maintenance workshops. It also has an unwanted bike recycling depot and recycled bike sales.
