ALL 62 employees of Tates Travel have been made redundant and all vehicles sold or returned to finance companies, administrators for the collapsed company confirmed.
Tates Travel ceased trading last week and is now in administration, with Bob Maxwell and Andrew Mackenzie of Begbies Traynor appointed joint administrators.
South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive (SYPTE), Barnsley Council and local bus operators stepped in to ensure all school services could run as pupils returned from half-term this week.
Alternative arrangements have been made for buses serving Penistone Grammar School, Holy Trinity College, Outwood Academy Carlton, Carlton Primary School, Carlton Academy, Darton College and Millhouse Green Primary School, which were previously served by Tates Travel.
