CONSTRUCTION of a new £3 million 75,000 sq ft industrial unit is to start this month.
Sheffield based contractor and developer JF Finnegan has been awarded the contract by Harworth Estates to design and build the new addition to the R-evolution at Gateway 36 business park near the motorway junction at Birdwell.
It is being developed ‘speculatively’ to help tackle the regional shortage of quality industrial accommodation.
It’s part of the first phase of Harworth’s Gateway 36 development which comprises 127 acres fronting the A6195 Dearne Valley Parkway. It will stand alongside the first three smaller units which total 65,000 sq ft and were completed last month.
The new unit is due to be completed by September.
