ONE of Wentworth Castle's keenest volunteers is delighted her daughter will be among the first to marry at the newly restored estate.
Singer songwriter Catherine Ollerton, 27, of Dodworth will wed fiancé Ari Ranus, 30, of Helsinki, in July.
Mum Celia Ollerton, of Silkstone Common, is a member of the Friends of the Gardens, works as a volunteer gardener during the week and gives guided tours on weekends.
Catherine said: “We can hardly wait, it is such a unique place for a wedding – after all it is Mum's garden!”.
Celia, 53, added: “Along with a lot of other volunteers I have worked hard in the gardens, so hopefully it should look great for them on their big day.”
