THE family of a Royston youngster who will require round-the-clock care for the rest of her life have been on a fundraising mission.
Emily Kitson, four, suffers from Rett syndrome, a debilitating neurological illness which attacks the brain and affects just one in 10,000 females.
Having been diagnosed a year ago, Emily has already lost her ability to talk and could be left in a wheelchair.
Her grandfather, Peter Andrews, came up with an idea to raise awareness for charity Rett UK - and has already raised more than £1,000 through an online quiz he created.
