FACE of Barnsley winners Josh Banham and Sarah McDonald are all smiles as they model next season’s kit at Oakwell.
Josh, 17, a lifelong Barnsley fan, said the highlight of the session was running into Reds defender Paul Heckingbottom in town, because he remembered him from the award ceremony.
“I was amazed that he remembered me. We had a chat and he said congratulations and everything.
“He said he remembered me because I was having a joke about it and he likes a bit of banter.”
Josh said there were other benefits of winning the contest. “I’ve been recognised quite a lot. It makes me smile, it makes me laugh.
“It’s a good chat-up line I suppose. I haven’t used it yet, but I’m thinking about it.”
