LINDA Strachan (nee Beverley) has submitted a photograph taken at Racecommon Road Infants’ School when she was a pupil there in 1949.
At the time she lived at Sykes Street, Kingstone Place, but soon after moved to Worsbrough Common. She remembers a few of the names, but would like to know if any of the children still live locally.
Linda is fifth from the right on the third row from the front. She believes the girl next to her was Janet Morgan, later Briscoe. Janet moved to Longcar Central School when Linda was also a pupil.
The boy to Linda's right is believed to be George Thelwell and second right on the second row from the front is Noreena Stafford. The boy, third right on the front row, is William Bell and second left on the third row is Malcolm Dixon.
