SHOCKING footage of Millwall fans attacking Barnsley fans inside Wembley during Sunday’s match emerged on YouTube this week.
Lots of clips were uploaded to Facebook and other sites after the match, but a more detailed video account which emerged on YouTube was later removed due to ‘copyright issues with Football League content’.
That video changed Reds’ fan Dean Parkin’s opinion on the stewards on duty inside the stadium during the game.
Millwall fans could be seen running around their side of the stadium to charge through the segregation barrier lined with stewards as Barnsley fans - including families with children - fled to get away from the trouble.
“My initial view was that the stewards weren’t doing everything they could,” said Dean, 50, of Lindley Crescent, Thurnscoe.
