THREE ‘nuisance’ off-road bikes were seized as part of crackdown on a Barnsley estate.
It was revealed as part of a community safety update given by PCSO Alan Fowler at the North / West Local Policing Team on Monday.
PCSO Fowler, who covers the St Helen’s ward, said as well as the bikes seized in Athersley an air rifle was also taken from a male who ‘thought it was OK to go shooting’ on land at the back of the estate.
A picture was posted on the Barnsley LPT Facebook page of PCSO Roy Pendlebury with one of the seized bikes and which PCSO Fowler said had ‘attracted a lot of negative comments’.
