A HORSE rider schooled the competition at recent championships.
Primary school supply teacher Patricia Haisman, part of Penistone and District Riding Club, won at the British Riding Club Festival of the Horse championship earlier this month.
Patricia, from Sheffield, won riding her 14-year-old mare Wheelgate Dark Secret in the Senior 90 challenge, a competition where you jump a round of show jumps and then go onto a cross country course.
Patricia was one of 97 competitors from across the country who all qualified in their own area before taking part in the final competition, held in Aston-Le-Brook.
