A CHARITY is appealing for people to get on their bikes for a ride from Land's End to John O’Groats.
The challenge will really be taking place in the Hoyland Leisure Centre and Metrodome when participants will pedal exercise bikes to support the British Heart Foundation's Help a Heart campaign.
Fund-raising manager Lauren Mallinson said it was a great way to get active this summer as well as saving lives.
She said: “The challenge is the perfect way to get involved in the Help a Heart campaign whilst keeping your own heart healthy.
“Heart disease can affect anyone and it is only with your support that we can beat heart disease together.”
The challenge has been made to Barnsley Fitness First members. To join the ride in Hoyland, call David Batch on 744063.
