THE Lamproom Theatre Company has announced its most successful year in its seven-year history.
Chairman Ian Hey said the six shows of the last financial year has enabled a donation of £23,000 to be made to Barnsley Theatre Trust.
With £19,000 handed over last year and £14,000 the previous year, that brings the total to £56,000 during his three-year chairmanship.
The success of the year is largely due to the voluntary help given by everyone from performers to front-of-house staff, said Mr Hey.
