FIRE officers are investigating the cause of a blaze which left an unoccupied house in Barnsley badly damaged.

Crews from Cudworh, Tankersley and Sheffield Parkway stations attended the fire in Cliffedale Crescent, Bank End, following a 999 call at around half past midnight yesterday.
