Barnsley goalkeeper Adam Davies and striker Tom Bradshaw have been drafted into the Wales squad for their World Cup qualifiers this week.
The 24-year-olds will join up with Chris Coleman's side ahead of their away game in Austria on Thursday then a home match against Georgia on Sunday.
Davies, who has not played for Wales yet but was on standby for their Euro 2016 squad, has been an ever-present between the sticks for the Reds during their promotion push last season and their start to life in the Championship.
Summer signing Bradshaw, who has already been capped once, has been in and out of Paul Heckingbottom's side but has netted two goals and assisted several others.
Reds captain Conor Hourihane has not made the final Republic of Ireland squad for their qualifying matches in the same group as Wales. Striker Adam Armstrong, on loan from Newcastle, has been called up for England under 20s who play three games this week.
