Darfield lightweight Robbie Barrett became English lightweight champion with a stylish display in Birmingham on Saturday night.

Barrett, 24, waltzed to a comfortable unanimous decision against Birmingham man Marcus Ffrench at the Barclaycard Arena.

All three judges had southpaw Barrett winning the fight comfortably.

Barrett adds the English title to his collection following an unbeaten spell as the Central Area title holder.
