ENFORCEMENT officers will visit three addresses in connection with rubbish dumped on the doorstep of Barnsley Main.
Black sacks brimming with household waste including an old vacuum cleaner, parts of a sofa, paint tubs and dead plants - were fly-tipped at the gated entrance to the former colliery site over the weekend.
Fortunately it was cleared up by the council within 24 hours of being reported and it is understood enforcement officers who cleared away the mess found paperwork with addresses on it.
Coun Wayne Johnson told the Chronicle those properties will now be visited by the enforcement team as part of investigations into who was responsible for dumping the waste.
