STRICTLY Come Dancing has proved to be one of the smash television hits of the decade and part of the glamour and glitz that has wowed audiences has been down to Barnsley woman Kay Heeley.
Working with the team that put together wardrobes for the stars, she helped to ensure the costumes on the show were every bit as eye-catching as the dance routines.
But working as part of the Dance Sport International team, which produces the costumes, is only one element of the former Barnsley College student’s CV, which is every bit as dazzling as the outfits she creates.
Her expertise has seen her in demand for spin-off shows in countries across Europe and she has formed a strong relationship with Wakefield singer Jane McDonald, producing both stage and formal wear for her.
