THE family of a woman whose breast cancer was misdiagnosed have paid tribute to her, saying she was an ideal daughter who was ‘the best.’
Kellee Harvey was just 27 when she died at Barnsley Hospice on Saturday.
She had discovered a lump in her breast in February last year, but was told it was not cancerous. It was only after it grew and was painful that she went back to the same consultant at Barnsley Hospital, where a biopsy showed the lump was cancerous. The cancer later spread to her lungs and brain.
Kellee had been the hospice for pain management for more than three weeks before she died. But her condition deteriorated.
