Pictures of Bonny Baby 2007 hopefuls are pouring into the Chronicle offices but there’s still enough time for you to enter your own bundle of joy and be in with a chance to win some fabulous prizes.
To qualify, babies need to live in the borough and be two years or younger on Friday October 12.
Send a good clear photograph and completed entry form to the Editorial Department, Barnsley Chronicle at 47 Church Street, Barnsley, S70 2AS.
Make sure the baby's name is written on the back of the photograph and enclose an SAE if you would like it returned.
All entries will be in a Bonny Baby supplement in the Chronicle on Friday October 12.
Then a panel of judges decide which 50 babies go through to the first stage of telephone voting, when Chronicle readers will get their chance to choose who makes it into the next round.
The closing date for the competition is 5pm on Thursday October 4, no entries will be accepted after this deadline.
The winner will be announced on Friday November 23.
Prizes include a sitting and portrait from Ronnie Neville photography worth more than £200, a £100 George at Asda voucher and gifts from Barnsley Babyworld. Goodies will also be on offer for the runner-up.
