THURNSCOE primary school pupils have had “fun and interactive” lessons on how to manage their money.
Four employees of Yorkshire Building Society visited Gooseacre Primary Academy to teach pupils about budgeting, loans and keeping their money safe.
The lessons were part of the building society’s Money Minds scheme, aimed at improving financial capability in the UK.
One of the visiting employees, Michelle Culshaw, said: “Learning how to effectively manage finances is a vital life skill.”
