A CAR radio trader’s conviction for dealing in stolen goods has been quashed because of his treatment by a “brutal” judge who would not let him change his underpants.
In November last year, Andrew Brian Cordingley, 31, from Lundwood, was jailed for three years after he was found guilty of handling stolen goods and converting criminal property.
The conviction has now been declared “unsafe”, however, after he successfully challenged it in London’s Court of Appeal.
He will now face a retrial.
