TWO parks are to receive a £200,000 boost over the coming months.
A fenced safety surface playground with swings, a climbing frame and a see-saw will be built at the Dodworth Road Recreation Ground at a cost of £45,000. Work should be completed by September.
A total of £160,000 will be spent on Monk Bretton park, which will have new changing facilities, a car park near Belmont Avenue and a knee-high post and rail fence along the Rotherham Road boundary. Work will start shortly.
