PENISTONE Ladies and Millhouse Green Male Voice Choirs will be on song tomorrow for its annual Christmas concert.
This year the concert will be in aid of new heart monitors for the neonatal unit at Barnsley Hospital that cost £1,200 each.
A 33-strong children’s choir from Silkstone Primary School will also be at the concert at St John's Church tomorrow at 7.30pm.
This school’s performance will feature a solo from William Otteslev who has joined Wakefield Cathedral Choir.
Millhouse Green MVC chairman Terry Cater said: “The acoustics in the church are lovely and it will be such a great atmosphere. We hope to raise even more than last year and buy two of the monitors.” A few tickets are still available from Melvin Dyson on 766286.
On Monday Millhouse Green MVC will perform the last concert in its 40th anniversary year at Millhouse Institute. Tickets will be available on the door.
