DO you know someone who deserves special recognition for going that extra mile to make our town a better place?

Then you must nominate them in the Proud of Barnsley awards 2018.

The awards celebrate those who strive to make our town a better place to live, work and visit.

This includes people who are teachers, volunteers, helpers, carers, and many others.

None of last year's nominees, finalists or winners saw what they do as worthy of winning an award, and don't consider what they do to be anything out of the ordinary.

Those who nominated them disagreed.

And so do we.

If you know someone who fits in to any of the categories below, you must give them the recognition they deserve by nominating them today.
