GIANT hares, horses, and dogs have made a home for themselves in Yorkshire Sculpture Park.
Don't worry though, these countryside dwellers won't be roaming far or causing concern for locals. The larger-than-life creatures are part of a bronze collection of amorphous figures created by Gloucestershire-born artist Sophie Ryder.
Her exhibition is based in the Longside Gallery and centres on powerful sculptural works Sophie has made over ten years to explore themes of female psyche and sexuality.
Sophie's work is part of the Arts Council Collection of contemporary modern art and she has made a valiant return to the park 20 years after taking up the position of artist -in -residence after leaving the Royal Academy School of Art.
She added: "The themes of the exhibition - applying human characteristics to animal forms - reflects my abiding interest in the physicality and mythology of these creatures."
Her monumental exhibition will run until November 2 and for more information contact 01924 832633.
