AN ARTIST from South Hiendley has presented Face of Barnsley winner Nikki Booker with a portrait after spotting her picture in the Chronicle.
Brian Neville, 67, of White Cross Gardens, took up drawing portraits two years ago after retiring from the painting and decorating business.
He presented Nikki with the framed portrait at her home in Eaden Crescent, Hoyland on Tuesday. Nikki, 17, said: "It's really nice and it's something different as well. My dad has put it on top of the television. "I was surprised he only did it as a hobby because he could make a business out of it."
Nikki won the Chronicle's competition in March and took part in a photo shoot and fashion show as part of her prize.
She is now trying to organise a fundraising event for Breast Cancer Research.
