A BARNSLEY woman had to pay an £80 release fee when her car was clamped as she visited her son at his new flat.
The accompanying parking ticket said the reason was 'permit parking only'. The warning sign at College Fields, off Huddersfield Road, says authorised visitors only but it did not mention the need for a permit.
Diane, 48, said: "If you're there visiting family, and you're parked in a visitors' space, you think you're an authorised visitor.
