EXACTLY a year ago today, barmaid Lorraine Booth's life was cruelly cut short by a man who is now serving life in prison for her murder.
While everyone is still struggling to come to terms with her death at the age of 50, her brother Charlie Wyatt said the ordeal has brought the family closer together.
"It has been a difficult year but if anything good has come of this then it has pulled the family back together.
"We have all kept in touch a lot more since it happened. Before I'd see dad every couple of months but we are much closer now, sadly it's without Lorraine."
