A MAN who had a loaded air rifle in public will be sentenced next month.

Craig Hilton, of Burton Road, Monk Bretton, was reported to police having been on Cross Lane in Royston with the weapon in November.

The 46-year-old pleaded guilty and will return to Barnsley Magistrates’ Court on April 6 for sentencing.
