LEADERS at a Barnsley charity have vowed to wrap presents for busy parents and carers to give them a helping hand this Christmas.
The Education Learning Support Hub (ELSH), on Warren Quarry Road, will host a drop-in session next Thursday from 10am and appealed to residents to donate wrapping paper, gift tags and ribbons.
Volunteers at the venue help teach English to Barnsley’s refugee, asylum seeker and migrant community.
Founder Florentine Bootha-King said: “It’s a stressful time of the year and we want to assist anyone who’s having problems wrapping their gifts.
“We rely on fundraising to continue our charity so we’re asking for a small donation.
“The event will take place until 6pm so we’d love to help as many people as possible.”
