A WORKER made redundant from a Staincross firm last week said she was treated like dirt and the only money she has received is a cheque for £91.
The 45-year-old woman, who does not want to be named, worked on the production line at the William Freeman Suba Seal factory on Wakefield Road for more than 30 years. The cheque was her wages for Tuesday and Wednesday.
She said: "I am very angry with the way we have been treated after all these years of service - just two days' pay for 30 years.
A lot of people have worked there a long time and this is what they have done for our loyalty. We have slogged our guts out for them."
