THE number of patients in Barnsley Hospital with Covid has increased by more than 1,000 per cent in the last month.
On June 9, there were just three patients in the hospital with the virus - but the latest figures show 35 are now on site.
It’s the highest figure since April, though there are no patients currently on medical ventilation beds.
