PRETTY Shauna Studd is hoping to make the national finals of an internet competition searching for the UK's Miss Teen Queen.
Shauna, 16, is one of hundreds of hopefuls from across the country who has been photographed for the beauty contest - the winner of which will be decided by public vote.
Shauna's heat will be posted on the internet next month and her profile will stay on the web while votes are cast from October 1 onwards.
Shauna, of Beech Road, Wath, who has wanted to get into the modelling industry for years has been let down by offers of jobs before and hopes this is her big chance.
Mum Bonita Hoey said: "She applied with the photograph taken for her sweet 16. She had a big gown on and they offered her a place straight away.
"We had to go to London three weeks ago for a photo shoot, she has never done anything like it before and loved it. Shauna has done a lot of things and said it was one of the best times in her life."
