DO any of our readers recognise whether the terrace houses and buildings on a photograph showing the local "rag and bone" man are in the Barnsley area?
Graham Rhodes, who lives in Sheffield, bought a picture at a Penistone auction and he was told the scene had been captured in Barnsley - most probably in the Summer Lane area.
He has taken a photograph of the picture and sent it to us in the hope that someone recognises the scene.
The Chronicle has not been able to verify where the picture was taken or identify the red brick houses.
Mr Rhodes would also like to know the name of the man with the horse and cart, although he realises that this a bit of a long shot.
